Angelo Tredicucci – Founder of Artisan Culture
Angelo comes from a little town called Fano in le Marche region on the beautiful Adriatic coast of Italy.
From a young age Angelo developed a natural inclination towards fine food learning the art of pasta making. Since his arrival in New Zealand in 1992, he started his own family company with wife Michelle, winning many accolades in the New Zealand food industry. Over the years Angelo has worked with numerous top chefs both domestically and off shore. He has established very close relationships with many distinguished figures in the New Zealand food industry, including celebrity chefs, artisans, restaurateurs, Italian food importers and food manufacturers.
Angelo is well known in the New Zealand food industry, taking part at major food shows, Italian Festivals and events. Angelo uses his innate knowledge and love of food to help people reconnect with others around them. It is trough his natural flair for this that he has become a proud ambassador of Italian Food and Culture in NZ.
While producing top artisan fresh pasta Angelo completed a nutrition paper trough Massey University to further his awareness and understanding on food nutrition, food evolution and trends.
Angelo has recently collaborated with the Gluten Free Store to create a gluten free pasta range which became a finalist in the New Zealand Food Awards and is currently distributed nationally through major supermarket chains.
