What people have said…

Angelo has presented three cooking sessions for the members here at the YMCA, each one was a gastronomic delight. He is obviously passionate about his work and the members were delighted with the evening and very impressed with his knowledge. Angelo has a kind and caring approach with an immense amount of patience. We will be working with Angelo again!

Angelo also catered my son’s 21st birthday dinner party for 22 people with ease. The food exceeded expectations. He was well prepared and delivered a fabulous, memorable evening.

Lou Holtz, a famous American footballer, coach and Analyst stated, “Your talent determines what you can do. Your motivation determines how much you are willing to do. Your attitude determines how well you do it.”

This sums up Angelo. In the kitchen and around the dinner table he comes alive with his gift, and it is quite magical to watch him. He draws in others, of all ages and stages, cultures and backgrounds; before they know it, they are turning their hand to creating food as Angelo talks of each ingredient as if he is talking about a most prized treasure, and in no time, he transorms the dinner place in a joyful community.

Angelo came to our school and spoke about his upbringing in Italy, his story was very inspiring and we learned a lot about the Italian Culture.

So to you Angelo Tredicucci, thank you from all of us.

Every year the Italian diplomatic network promotes Italian culinary culture through an “Italian cuisine week” on the 3d week of November. In 2019 we celebrated this occurrence for the third time in New Zealand, with events in both islands: special menus, cooking demonstrations, talks and hands-on cooking lessons. One of this year’s highlights was the participation of Angelo Tredicucci, food expert and entrepreneur. He is without any doubt one of the most known popularisers of Italian cuisine in New Zealand. Angelo guided the attendance through a 4 courses dinner served at the “Bella Italia” business centre in Petone. He gave a detailed presentation, explaining the peculiar origin of Italian regional cuisine, nutritional qualities and recipes of the dishes being cooked in front of the audience. Angelo’s participation and explanations gave the desired cultural background to this culinary event. At the end the prepared dishes were served to the participants.

The event was undeniably a success, specially thanks to Angelo’s participation.
